Here's what I've been doing that last 5 years.

Spirit Airlines
March 2010 - present / Web Developer

While working at Spirit Airlines, I'm in charge of implementing the new pages designs into the existing web application.

My direct responsibilities include, retrieving data from XML files and display it in the browser using XSLT style sheets, while writing all the XHTML standards compliant and cross-browser compatible, using semantic code that is based on best practices.

Also, to write custom JavaScript code to handle all the interaction with the end-user, and manipulate all the data and interface, to ensure a friendly and intuitive experience.

INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL
June 2009 - February 2010 / Web Developer

While working for Interval International, I was part of a team that was in charge of creating a web application to handle the reservation system for their time-share holders.

My direct responsibilities included developing the graphical interface to display and manipulate data in a friendly, interactive and intuitive way, that was to be used by the customer service agents.

Wragg & Casas
June 2008 - February 2009 / Web Developer

Working for Wragg & Casas I was in charge of developing an entire website for a Major League Baseball Team.

The website was created to support the team in their effort to build a new stadium and inform the public and fans about the development of the stadium project.

The project was developed from scratch, starting with the initial concept all the way to launching the site.

It includes extensive PHP, for its interactive features, such as the picture gallery and a blog.

I was also the lead developer in other projects, including a prominent Law Office in Miami and large conglomerate in Lee County.

Sapient Interactive
January 2008 - May 2008 / Web Designer

Responsible for design and update of media content, such as landing pages, newsletters, HTML emails, interactive banners, etc...

Using the Adobe Creative Suite software, I was in charge of creating brand new designs for several media campaigns.

Visa LatinAmerica
November 2007 - December 2007 / Web Developer

Responsible for quickly converting print content into web pages, and updating the appropriate sections of the following websites: www.visa-infinite.com, www.visa-platinum.com, www.visa-signature.com

Using Dreamweaver, updated the Rewards Program content for the Visa website.

This content included text from PDF files and images provided by the client, which was formatted into adequate standards for the internet.

Specifically, text was input into HTML templates and HTML code was created to include the different tags for hyperlinks, email links to be displayed by the browser.

Images such as pictures and logos were optimized for the internet using Adobe Photoshop, reducing its weight in kilobytes for faster download.
